To apply for a Family Member of PBS Migrant visa, you must be related to the main applicant in one of the following ways: Spouse Civil partner Unmarried partner Child under 18 Parents, grandparents, siblings and adult children of the main applicant can’t apply for a PBS dependent visa. How much does it cost? The application fee for a PBS dependent visa depends on the main applicant’s visa category. You can see a full list of the Home Office’s immigration fees here. The dependent applicant fees are the same as the main applicant. How long can I stay? You need to have been issued a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) before you can apply. Once you’ve received your CoS, you will have three months to apply for your Skilled Worker visa. The CoS will also note your intended employment start date; the earliest you can apply for your visa is three months prior to this date. In most cases, if you apply for the Skilled Worker Visa from within the UK the process takes up to 8 weeks, or up to 3 weeks if applying from overseas.
